Unique to it's science, we have our very own laptop station, iPhone station and even a beverage menu.
From our 100% Vegan colouring, to biodegradable towels, it's science is helping to carve a way to a greener, more sustained future.
At 21 years old, Gemma was one of the youngest finalists in the British hairdressing Business Awards. Gemma was then a finalist at L'Oreal's prestigious Talent Spotting and assisted Industry legends around Europe learning everything she could in the world of hairdressing. On her days off you would find her styling hair at fashion shows, for music videos as well as becoming a regular behind the scenes for Nickelodeon.
For the last 7 years Gemma has been part of the Paul Mitchell artistic team;
"I travelled more countries than I knew possible, taught in seminars from Rome to Las Vegas, I love teaching everyone my passion for colour. I love spreading the glitter as far and wide as possible, it's about how you leave people feeling. That's when the wizard nickname was born!"

WE LOVE GRACE. When I met Grace we chatted about her fashion textiles past, her desire to travel and her dream of linking her passion for hairdressing to them.
I promised Grace a hands-on hair apprenticeship NOT a hands-on cleaner and three days in is applying a toner. This young lady's future is an exciting one.

New to the It's Science team is Millie our upcoming rising star. Some of you may already know her for her killer curls and the brains behind Gemma's new colour... the money piece. We're sure you will love her as much as we do as Millie has slotted into the team like she's been here forever: "I love how friendly everyone in the salon is, it's a nice environment to learn and I feel like a hairdresser not an apprentice. We all get treated the same, it's like a family."

At only 16 years of age, Shanelle is our youngest member of the it's science family on her future stylist journey.
You will fall in love with just as we all have, with a smile to warm your heart and her dry sense of humour she is an asset to our team.
It can often be hard as a future stylist because even though you are the newest, you're actually the one who runs the salon and have eyes everywhere.
Shanelle has the passion and drive for hairdressing: "I always wanted to be a hairdresser, I always did my friends hair and I'm really enjoying it. I think I prefer colouring; I like all the bright colour and love working in the salon because it's so friendly."
With an exciting career ahead of her with us we look forward to continuing to share her progress with you all.
